Tree travels the region for yearly events such as the weekly summer Ridgway town park shows, Pagosa Springs Folk Festival and the Four Corners Fall Festival. She has also had the opportunity to create lighting for notable entertainers such as Smoky Robinson, Macy Gray and Niceness.
She recently expanded her repertoire to include wedding dinners and receptions, both indoors or outdoors, plus architectural ambiance and decorative lighting for almost any event.
Lighting inventory includes solar and wireless lighting, over 500 feet of bistro lighting, and enough band lighting for two stages. DJ lights with exceptional effects and beautiful softer lighting for more elegant, special occasions are also available.
Says Tree, “I couldn’t love anything more than what I do now with my company and the variety of events I currently design lighting for to delight people.”
A little History
Tree began her career in technical theater in the early 90’s right after graduating college with a degree in Fine Arts. Her first gig was a five-year stint on tour with Sesame Street Live as Head Prop Manager. Tree’s love affair with theater and stage rigging began with this lively assignment. She continued taking classes to hone her technical lighting skills for all types of events while on tour.
A 10-year period as Assistant Technical Director at Colorado College followed, where Tree began to focus exclusively on lighting. In 2012, she took on the position of Technical Director at The Palm Theater, located in Telluride.
